Manteiga Voadora Designs First Aniversary

One year has passed...now...looking back...i can see things that i could have done diferent. Some went just as well as i predicted...some things will never be the same...but there are things that simply will never change...such as my passion for Arts.

I've started thing blog because i wanted to show the world what i could do with Fashion. But i have realised that art can be expressed in so many ways...and im so expressive...sometimes i simply can't help trying out new things...

For this second year to come...i just hope it goes just as well as i thing this one was for this blog. I've spoken of my idols, presented my fashion sketches...i have even tried oil painting myself... it was a nice year...

Palácio de Queluz

Here's a nice and inspiring example of the presence of Rococo Style in Portugal. It's called the "Room of the Throne" and you can see it with your own eyes at the Queluz Palace in the area of Sintra.
I went there last week and although there were lots of other rooms to see, i just felt i could stay at this one forever...guess it was love at first sight as it was one of the first rooms i entered...

There's also the Palácio da Pena or ....well...The Feather Palace (as i guess its the correct translation) wich is a million times better, but obviously we are not alowed to take pictures inside...i went there with my school last Easter and its really impressive...
